The Build Phases
First we will meet you to discuss your renovation and assess the current situation. Style and practical issues need to be discussed. What are the problems you are trying to solve? Do you have any ideas as to what you would like incorporated into the build? Do you have any issues or requirements that need to be taken into consideration? We will take measurements and photographs and discuss styles and finishes, timescale and budgets.
We will provide you with a detailed quote; this will include a project plan and a statement of works. We will define what exactly will be provided in terms of materials and labour. We will work closely with you to agree on the fixtures, finishes and fittings and will help source all of the materials. If our quote is accepted then we will agree a start date and sign a contract. At this stage 10% of the agreed total will have to be paid to secure the start date.
On the start date 20% of the agreed total will have to be paid to secure the men and materials. On that date we will arrive and, if previously agreed, help set up a temporary kitchen facility elsewhere in the home. The area where the work is being carried out will be isolated, and the rest of your home protected as much as possible. All of the 102 Interiors staff will wear the distinctive company uniform.
Daily progress will be checked against the agreed timescales and any issues that arise will be discussed with you. You may wish to make modifications and the cost and timescale implications will have to be determined and agreed upon, change requests will be documented and signed by both parties. At the end of the original timescale 60% of the original cost will have to be paid. If there are any modifications that have increased the cost or timescale then this further cost should be paid at the end of the further timescale.
At the end of each day critical parts of the site will be cleaned to ensure that family life can continue and at the end of the work the entire site that we have had an impact on will be cleared and cleaned.
We will provide a comprehensive snagging service for one calendar month after the work has finished, at that time the final 10% of the original cost should be paid. Any concerns or issues should be dealt with on a weekly basis during the work and we are confident that at this time we can leave you in peace to enjoy your new room.
